I'll be honest with you. I had a rough morning. Had some people in my life tell me that I may not be making the right choices in life and leaving a well-paying job for travel experiences was a huge mistake. But you know what? That's for me to decide. Do I regret traveling?
No way!!
Do I regret leaving a well-paying job in exchange for the wonderful memories I created in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Italy, UK, Czech-Republic, Vietnam, and Thailand?
Never.
Tip of the day? Don't ever let anyone steal your sunshine! It's all yours! Always will be.
I look up to you for your courage to travel! I always have to tell myself the same thing as far as my art business, so thank you for this.
ReplyDeleteThanks Danie! It's honestly probably the most courageous act I've ever done in my life. It took a lot of sacrifice and it was all worth it.
DeleteYou only live once and sometimes you have to take chances! I left everything in Houston to live in LA and found the love of my life =)
ReplyDeleteDo you want to follow each other?

So true! We can't live through life in a security bubble - - sometimes when we take bold chances, we encounter the most beautiful life situations such as you finding the love of your life! I'll check out your blog, thanks Lesley!
Deletelive life so you have no regrets. It sounds like you are doing just that.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. I figure if we all die someday, why be afraid to live?
DeleteVery well said Cathy. A person has a right to follow his/her heart and happiness. And life is no battlefield if you believe me. Its a playgroud to play explore and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Savvy! We must follow our hearts to live passionately and lead an authentic life. You're right about life being a playground. Don't get me wrong, life can be tough sometimes but that's why we must discipline our minds to think positively all the time.
Deleteand you're right again :)
DeleteUnfortunately too many people are living their lives to please others... Good thing that you followed your heart.
ReplyDeleteIt's true. My sweet boyfriend reminded me, that at the end of the day, it's your decision and your life. :)
DeleteThis pic did make me grin :D I say good on you for leaving the job to travel. You have to do what's right for you at the time, and unfortunately, some people just won't understand because they think they know better. Great tip at the end though! It sounds like you already know what I just said :) I really love your outlook on life. It's really inspiring :) Rhi xx

Awesome - glad it made you grin as well! I'll be real with you, Rhi; there are days when I get down and feel like I need to win approval from others. What's important though, is to continuously discipline our minds to think right and that way, those positive thoughts encourage us to live for us and not for others! It's tough but possible! :)
DeleteI haven't encountered anyone yet who has once said they regret traveling...only those who wish they had! Good for you for going against the grain and following YOUR dreams!
ReplyDeleteSame here, Lindsay. Thank you for the words of encouragement! I'm excited for the summer issue!! :)
