In the dead of winter..

I found myself in Krakow, Poland. Pierogis (dumplings traditionally stuffed with potato filling, ground meat, cheese). A very hip and cool fashion show. Trash cans filled with hot coals to warm up cold bodies. And snow like I've never seen before. Just some of the interesting things I encountered during my trip to Poland. I wish I had more photos to capture this wonderful place but it was the most cold I have ever been. To take off my gloves and snap a pic was just too much! I'll never forget how those little tasty Pierogis filled my belly and warmed me up on a cold bitter day. One day, I plan to return in the summer or fall.

  1. Oh to travel! I love that they put hot coals in trash cans. It seems like something the world should do - I imagine it would be a great way to make new friends or just have one-off conversations that you'll hold dear for many years after. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend Cathy! :) Rhi xx
