As you might have already read in my Dearest Monday Morning post, I like to go against the grain and do something that starts the week off right! We all know that Mondays have the highest number of heart attack occurrences due to stress - - so I thought I would do something fun upon my first week back in Arizona. Did you catch the clip of me dancing away on Fox News Live this morning?
I joined a Volunteer Tea Party in downtown Phoenix to get to know the other volunteers at Dress for Success. It's a fantastic non-profit organization that aims to educate women (coming from various types of backgrounds) on re-gaining the traction in their lives to get those wheels spinning again. The volunteer positions vary from makeup specialists to personal shoppers as well as career specialists!
I signed up to be a Career Specialist starting this Wednesday! Super excited, super pumped - - I'm ready to make a difference in Arizona and use the perspectives I gained from traveling to rebuild my career.
